Guardian Word: Unicorns

My elementary school lunch-yard had a raised concrete platform at one end. My friends and I loved to use this platform as a stage, and we had so much fun acting out our favorite books together.

I was recently remembering those performances, and something special happened as I recalled the scene.

In my mind’s eye, I saw myself having fun with my little friends, but in addition to seeing other kids in the lunch-yard, I saw Unicorn Guardians!

They were lounging all around the stage, basking in my joyful (unself-conscious) expression as if it was sunshine.

Wow! This gave me a deeper understanding of my connection with Unicorns, and it made me want to create more moments filled with that same energy.
