Guardian word of the Week: Hope

Some people are opposed to the idea of “hope.” It can be seen as a substitute for action, or a tool of self-deception.

But, as always with our Guardian Words, we’re not focusing on a mental construct. We are connecting with an actual, living energy field of Hope.

Open your heart and do it now:
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope
Hope

How does the energy of Hope feel to you? Does any particular part of your life come into your mind as you connect to this Hope-Energy? Continue connecting through your heart, then let the energy of Hope spread out to encapsulate your body.

Imagine that you have strong roots (like the roots of a big tree) and let the energy of Hope flow through your roots and down into the Earth. Can you feel the love coming back to you in response?

Let this love from the Earth flow up into your heart and, still feeling your powerful root system, allow the energy of Hope to spread out—surrounding the Earth and shining out from the planet like a beacon.

One of the definitions of Hope (from Oxford Languages) is: “…believing that something good may happen.”

Stay connected to the living presence of Hope. Let it continue to fill you, and through you, fill the Earth. Let this energy help you believe know that something good will happen—today, tomorrow, and every day from now on!
